"A juice similar to this was being sold at the San Diego Earth Fair. I prefer whole foods so I reproduced it as a smoothie. It's very refreshing and has a bit of tang."

Ingredients :

  • 1 1/2 cups orange juice
  • 1/2 large cucumber
  • 2 carrots
  • 1 apple, cored
  • 4 ice cubes
  • 2 leaves kale
  • 1/2 lemon, juiced
  • 1 tablespoon flax seeds
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1 tablespoon ground turmeric
